The exhibition Hello Lübeck. Dialogues with the Kunsthalle St. Annen presents the reorientation of the Kunsthalle St. Annen as a place of lively exchange about art for the diverse voices of our society. The central theme of the exhibition is dialogue: Contemporary artistic positions are presented that enter into a dialogue with the collection and the public on various levels. The juxtapositions result in connections between stories, objects and people that cast new perspectives on the collection and create different approaches to art for a wide audience.

"Hello Lübeck" is divided into two acts and creates opportunities for learning and experimenting together. Using participatory methods, the various actors in the city's society are invited to curate parts of the exhibition themselves and contribute their ideas for the future direction of the Kunsthalle. To this end, specially designed dialogue spaces and participatory artworks will be created in the Kunsthalle, such as the art project "Geknetete Stadt", which the action and conceptual artist Christian Jankowski developed together with Lübeck schoolchildren.

In addition, the children's art gallery, which invites even the very young to experience art through a sensual and playful approach, will open for the first time as part of the exhibition.
