In view of the earthquake catastrophe in Turkey und in Syria, Kunsthalle St. Annen is organizing a charity auction together with the auction house Christie’s and the artist community Gemeinschaft Lübecker Künstlerinnen und Künstler. Local and international artists are donating works for a good cause. Art lovers will have the opportunity to purchase an artwork for themselves. The proceeds of the auction will go to the organization medico international e. V. to support victims of the earthquake disaster. The former Minister President Björn Engholm is patron of the event, and Christiane Gräfin zu Rantzau, Chairman Christie’s Germany, will lead the auction. 

A preview of the works is possible:  
Saturday, 10 June, 2023, 10 am - 5 pm and and on Sunday, 11 June 2023, from 10 am to 3 pm 
at Kunsthalle St. Annen, St. Annen-Str. 15, 23552 Lübeck.

The transport of the auctioned works is organized by the buyers. 

The works by the artists of the community Gemeinschaft Lübecker Künstlerinnen und Künstler in the exhibition „Lübeck Contemporary“ are moreover already available now. 50 % of the sales proceeds will be donated in favour of the earthquake victims.

Please note that photos will be taken during the event to be used for publicity purposes of Kunsthalle St. Annen.
